Client: CityWide Digital Systems Inc.

Background:

 

CityWide Digital retained FavorWare's services to develop new software solutions for their point of purchase kiosk equipment. CityWide Digital needed a reliable and easy to manage system to ensure their screens were playing advertisements on a 24 x 7 basis. They also needed to update and manage the ad content in order for their screens to run new advertising campaigns.

 

Project Scope:
 

Initially FavorWare assessed what CityWide Digital had already developed and looked at their current kiosk configuration. After documenting some of the problems with the early system and watching several updates fail. It was clear that the process was cumbersome and needed to be improved.

FavorWare developed a new media player to ensure it would be able to support different media files and to run through a list of different multimedia ad campaigns. The screens would also have to support fresh content and a daily update to make changes on an ongoing basis. Our FavorHosting.com division was able to provide content hosting and media management services to compliment FavorWare's software solutions.

 

To efficiently meet this need FavorWare provided the strategic outsourcing partnership to ensure CityWide Digital's screens were reliable and updating on a regular basis.
